'Good Hair' Redefined by Gainesville-Raised Entrepreneur

GoodHair will be the first, national hair salon chain of its kind specializing in care and styling for women with textured hair (i.e., kinky, coily, curly or wavy).

“Professional women with textured hair need easy access to healthy, fast and affordable hair care services,” says co-founder, Anthea Kelsick.

Folake Oguntebi, raised in Gainesville, FL,  and fellow 'momtrepreneur' Anthea Kelsick, have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for this innovative hair salon startup.

GoodHair is a socially responsible, quick service hair salon chain designed specifically for women with textured hair.  "We believe good hair is healthy hair. Whether your hair is kinky, curly, coily, wavy; whether it’s relaxed, natural or any combo of the above, if it’s healthy, it’s good!"

With funds raised, they plan to run a proof of concept store in New York City and to assess customer interest.
